Sadly, Shawty Lo was killed last night in a car accident in Atlanta on the way home from a local lounge. Early reports called it a hit and run, but it was later clarified that he lost control of the wheel. The "Dey Know" rapper's Audi went over the guardrail, hit some trees and and caught fire, and he was ejected from the vehicle. According to police, two other passengers in the car were taken to the hospital with injuries.
His manager, Johnny Cabbell, confirmed the news via Lo's Twitter page. The 40-year-old leaves behind 11 children. RIP!
